St Paul’s Discoverers are young people who are exploring the importance of Jesus in their lives.

St Paul’s Discoverers is for children aged three to 11 years. It meets Sundays between 10:00 and 11:00 during the 10am Sunday morning church service during school term times only. Children begin in the church before leaving for Dicoverers in the Community Centre.
We do various activities such as games, crafts, as we look at and learn more about the bible. The children return to church to present to the congregation what they have been doing. Discoverers also perform a Christmas Nativity. All our Junior Church leaders are DBS checked and have received training in safeguarding, and there will be a minimum of two present.
Parents may accompany children if they wish especially if it is the first time.
For younger children there are some toys and activities at the back of the church. There is also a crèche for the very young in the vestry.
Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”
Luke 18:15-17
