St Paul's with St Andrew's, Hereford

Giving

Everything that happens here is made possible by your gifts of time, talents and money.

Your giving enables everything we do at St Paul’s, including our Sunday Services, work with children and families, outreach to the schools in the Parish as well as many social action projects. All that happens is made possible by those who pray, serve and give to the work of the church. We could not do it without you!

Thank you so much.

Give through the Parish Giving Scheme

St Paul’s Church is a member of the Parish Giving Scheme (PGS) which is the preferred way of giving by the Church of England’s National Stewardship Committee. This is administered centrally for us by the PGS which is a charitable company that aims to provide the most efficient and effective way for people to financially support their local church.

The PGS is St Paul’s preferred method for regular donations and we encourage everyone who gives regularly to use it.

The scheme enables you to:

  • Give monthly, quarterly or annually by Direct Debit
  • Sign up to inflation linked giving annually, if you choose
  • Enhance your gift to the parish by having Gift Aid at 25% added to your giving
  • Give anonymously, if you prefer
  • Give securely

There are three ways in which you can set up a Direct Debit to give regularly to your church or parish:

Via the PGS website: St Paul’s PGS Giving Page

Scan QR code

By the telephone service on 0333 002 1271, Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm.

By paper 'Gift Form'. This form has St Paul’s details already completed so you just need to add your own details as shown above. Please complete the form and send it to: Parish Giving Scheme, 76 Kingsholm Road, Gloucester, GL1 3BD.

What if donors need to change their donation?
If donors wish to make any changes to their Direct Debit, they should notify PGS by phone 0333 002 1260, or by email to info@parishgiving.org.uk or in writing to Parish Giving Scheme, 76 Kingsholm Road, Gloucester GL1 3BD.

What do we want you to do?
Preferably that you join the PGS. However If you don’t want to join the PGS then please continue to give as you do now.

We are thankful to our members for giving so generously.

Join us on Sundays at 10.00am

A church is like a family. Just as families exist in all shapes and sizes, so there is an enormous variety of churches. Encountering a new group of people who all know each other and all know what is going on can feel intimidating. St Paul's has a relaxed friendly atmosphere.

Prayer

St Paul's church is open during daytime, 9.30am to 5.00pm, for anyone who wishes to spend time in prayer and reflection. We hope you find comfort and peace in this place. Whatever or whoever is on your mind today, be still before God, who cares for you and those you love.
