St Paul's with St Andrew's, Hereford

Discoverers

St Paul’s Discoverers are young people who are exploring the importance of Jesus in their lives.

For children aged from 2 years and upwards. They meet in the community centre at 10.00am. Each Sunday a carefully planned programme of learning and enjoyable activities are arranged for the children. Afterwards returning to the church to receive Communion or a blessing. Please see below for more details.

Children and Communion at St Paul’s

Unconfirmed children attending St Paul’s 10.00am Communion service will be able to receive Communion to recognise the contribution they make to the life of the church. St Paul’s PCC agreed to allow children to receive communion some time ago and it is very appropriate that the first occasion that this took place was Easter Sunday 2009. Parents will be asked if they wish their children to receive Communion or a blessing.

Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”

Luke 18:15-17

Join us on Sundays at 10.00am

A church is like a family. Just as families exist in all shapes and sizes, so there is an enormous variety of churches. Encountering a new group of people who all know each other and all know what is going on can feel intimidating. St Paul's has a relaxed friendly atmosphere.

Prayer

St Paul's church is open during daytime, 9.30am to 5.00pm, for anyone who wishes to spend time in prayer and reflection. We hope you find comfort and peace in this place. Whatever or whoever is on your mind today, be still before God, who cares for you and those you love.
